What we handle

Our Tree & Debris Services

Every job below is assessed on site before it's quoted, so the scope reflects what's actually involved.

Small Tree Removal

Removal of suitable small trees where access and surroundings allow. Size, species, proximity to structures, and where the tree will fall are assessed before anything is quoted.

Limb & Branch Removal

Removal of low, broken, or overhanging limbs that are within reach of standard equipment. Higher or awkward limbs may need different equipment or a specialist.

Storm Debris Clearing

Clearing of fallen branches and storm debris from lawns, driveways and paths. Storm work is unpredictable and is assessed on site before a scope is agreed.

Stump & Root Considerations

Stump grinding and root removal involve separate equipment and disposal. Ask whether this is available for your property — it is not automatically included with a tree removal.

Brush & Debris Hauling

Collection and haul-away of cut material. Confirm where it will be taken and whether the cost is included in your estimate rather than assumed.

Full Site Cleanup

After removal, agreed areas are cleared of leftover debris and the surrounding lawn and beds are tidied so the property is left presentable.

Safety first

We'd rather turn down a job than get it wrong

Tree work is the most dangerous thing in landscaping. A tree that falls the wrong way damages property or injures someone, and a limb near a power line can be fatal. That risk isn't worth rushing.

So we assess every job before quoting, and we decline work that needs equipment or expertise we don't have — pointing you toward a licensed tree service instead.

  • Tree size, species and condition are assessed on site first
  • Proximity to houses, fences, power lines and vehicles is checked
  • Where a tree will fall and how it will be controlled is planned in advance
  • Utility locations are confirmed before any digging or stump work
  • Work outside our equipment's reach is declined rather than attempted

If a tree or limb is touching a power line

Do not go near it, and do not attempt to move it yourself. Contact your utility company first — that work can only be carried out by the utility or a qualified line-clearance contractor. It is not something our crew can take on, and we won't attempt it.

Pricing

How Much Does Tree Removal Cost in Arlington?

Cost depends on the size and species of the tree, its condition, how close it sits to buildings or lines, access for equipment, how the material is removed, and whether stump grinding is included.

Because those factors vary so much from tree to tree, this is work we quote after an on-site assessment rather than over the phone. Photos and your address are the fastest way to start.

Your estimate should state what's included: which tree or limbs, whether material is hauled away, and whether stump removal is part of the scope.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

If something's urgent or you're unsure, call rather than wait on the form.

(703) 635-8081

Do you remove large trees?

Not always. Larger trees — and any tree close to a house, power line or structure — may need specialised equipment or a licensed tree surgeon. We assess each job and will tell you honestly if a tree is beyond what we should take on, rather than attempt it.

How much does tree removal cost?

Cost depends on the size and species, its condition, how close it sits to buildings or lines, access for equipment, how the material is removed, and whether stump grinding is included. Because of that, tree work is quoted after an on-site assessment rather than over the phone.

Is stump removal included?

No. Stump grinding and root removal use separate equipment and are quoted separately. If you want the stump gone, say so when you request the estimate so it can be included in the scope.

What happens to the wood and branches?

Confirm this when you request your estimate. Hauling cut material off the property and leaving it on site are different scopes with different costs, and it should be stated clearly rather than assumed.

Can you help after a storm?

Storm cleanup gets priority. Send photos and your address and describe what has fallen and whether anything is blocking access or resting on a structure. If a tree is touching a power line, contact your utility first — that is not work we can take on.

Do you need to see the tree before quoting?

For anything beyond small, straightforward limbs, yes. Photos help us understand the job, but size, lean, surrounding hazards and access can only be judged properly in person.

Will you remove a tree near power lines?

No. Any work near live power lines must be handled by the utility or a qualified line-clearance contractor. Never attempt this yourself, and do not ask us to work around live lines.

Can you take down a tree leaning toward my house?

A tree leaning toward a structure is a higher-risk job. It needs assessment and, in many cases, rigging or specialist equipment. Send photos so we can tell you whether it is something we can handle or whether it needs a licensed tree service.

Do you chip or dispose of the material?

Discuss disposal when requesting an estimate. The proposed scope should state whether material is chipped, hauled away, or left on site.

How do I request a tree removal estimate?

Send your Arlington address, photos of the tree or debris, and a description of the situation — including anything near it that concerns you. If it is urgent, call (703) 635-8081.

Photos plus your address let us judge size, access and surroundings before we come out — so the assessment is quicker and the estimate more accurate.
